Technology is a strategic weapon across all industries and Organizations and it holds true for the defense forces as well. The Department of Defense (DoD) is well known for its hardware-based weaponry, unmistakable aircrafts, satellites, missiles and other system in its arenal for defending a country. Generally, there are three forces of defense which come under DoD, namely, Army, Airforce and Navy. With time, defense shifts from metal and mechanics to UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), smart bombs and drones. From remotely piloted aircrafts and smart bombs to autonomous vehicle and fighter jets, software plays a very crucial role for the success of today’s weaponry system.

• Polar View NS: it is a user-friendly, onboard marine navigation system which deals about the Eastertides and GPS system.
• Polar Com: It is a comprehensive set of navigation instruments including position, depth, course and wind.

Apart from the crucial role in Army and Navy, Information Technology also plays a very important role in Airforce too. The previous aircrafts of the Airforce were based on mechanics, but with the gift of IT and softwares, various aircrafts have been invented, which can fly in air, can attack the enemy without any onboard pilot.

Net-T (Network Tactical):  A software upgrade called Net-T effectively turns war planes into wireless routers in the sky, allowing ground forces to share information with one another.⁵
